Colin Bassett

CEO

Colin Bassett is one of the founders of BeValued and was appointed as CEO of the Be Group after the acquisition of LMG in 2008. Colin’s focus is on growing the group across both the insurance contents claims market and strategic partnerships in other business to business related markets.

He has led the group's transition with the innovative development and use of technologies within the claims processes.

This has resulted in attracting an expanding supply chain across all product categories in both online and bricks & mortar retail solutions, along with providing an environment for exceptional people to thrive and grow.

Hannah McArdell

Group Operations Manager

Hannah joined the organisation in 2002 as a claims handler within our Jewellery business located in Bath. She has worked her way up through the ranks having had roles in Client Operations and Business Development.

A real home-grown asset, Hannah has been honing her business skills throughout her 19 years with The BeGroup. She is passionate about people, providing excellent service to clients and customers and streamlining processes.

Having previously been a Premier League hockey player, Hannah utilises her tenacity and competitive nature to bring continual improvement to all aspects of her work.

Kim Grover

Operations Manager

Kim joined BeValued in 2008 as a Data Entry Temp, and within a month was offered a permanent position. She has since worked her way up to Claims Handler, Team Leader and onto her current role as Operations Manager.

Kim says "my own journey through the ranks has provided me with the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of all aspects of the business and really get to know the members of my team. I continue to develop skills, for my own personal growth and for the benefit of the business".

Kim is committed to continuous improvement, working closely with other areas of the business, including HR, IT and Engineering.

Duncan Clack

Technical Manager

Duncan joined the Be Group in 2009 as a claim handler for the electrical side of the business.

Having Worked through many roles including Account Manager & Flooring Technical Manager Duncan has started his new role as Relationship Manager.

A former Pub Manager, Booking Agent and Touring Musician. Duncan honed his talent for innovation and problem solving whilst traveling the country the long way round.

Karen McLean

Senior Relationship Manager - Electricals, Leisure, Flooring

Karen McLean first joined the business in 2006 having previously held roles in sales and client relationships within the insurance replacement industry. After taking a career break in 2014, we were delighted to welcome her back in 2019 now leading the client relationships for electricals, lifestyle and flooring.

Karen is passionate about delivering quality service to both Insurers and their customers which sits at the heart of our values.
